WORK  EXPERIENCE         

 

1989- PRESENT           President, O’Brien Inspection Services, Inc.

                                      Operating a Real Estate inspection service for residential and commercial properties.  Schedule, perform and report on properties
                                      throughout Brevard County. Handle all other aspects of running a small business.                   

 1986- PRESENT         President, Thomas J. O’Brien Construction, Inc.

                          Operating a turnkey construction operation, building both residential and commercial structures. Coordinating over 40 subcontractors 
                                      and their employees to provide quality projects in a timely, cost-efficient manner.

1985-1986                    Project Manager - Arbor Ridge Town Homes

                          Managed the construction and sales of a 15-acre town homes development.  Responsible for supervision of both real estate sales and
                                      construction services.  Acted as liaison between sales persons and general contractor.  Responsible for production schedules, sales
                                      promotions, and real estate closings.

1984 - 1985                  I-95 Relocation Administration, Raymond Kaiser Engineers, Inc.  Worked in a consultant capacity for the Florida Department of
                                      Transportation.  Responsible for developing a computerized production management system, and developing a marketing presentation for
                                      nationwide real estate services.

        

EDUCATIONAL

BACKGROUND:

 

1977-1981       University of Central Florida - Orlando, Florida.  Bachelor of Science degree in Business administration with a double major in Finance and Marketing.  Minor in Computer Science.

 

1982-1984               Florida Atlantic University - Boca Raton, Florida.  Candidate in Masters of Business Administration program.
